Director of Neuropsychology
Diana S. Goldstein, Ph.D., ABPP is the President and CEO of Michigan Avenue Neuropsychologists as well as the Director of its Neuropsychology Clinic. She obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School, and completed fellowship training in neuropsychology at the University of Chicago. She is board certified in clinical neuropsychology and holds an academic appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where she teaches ethics and forensic psychology and serves as a treatment supervisor in the internship training program. She additionally directs an advanced doctoral level training program at the Isaac Ray Forensic Group in Chicago. Dr. Goldstein regularly lectures to other clinicians, public safety and risk management agencies seeking guidance on topics related to neurologic disorder, neuropsychological assessment and emotional trauma. Dr. Goldstein is licensed in both Illinois and Indiana.
Specialty areas of research and practice include the psychological and neuropsychological assessment of adults and geriatric patients, including traumatic brain injury, dementia, and other neurologic conditions causing executive dysfunction; treating patients and family members adjusting to neurologic injury or diagnosis; the cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety disorders, including post traumatic stress disorder; and meeting the full range of mental health needs of public safety and occupational medicine agencies.
